Cancellation Policy

At Triptoocean, we understand that travel plans may change due to personal or unforeseen reasons. Since we coordinate bookings such as hotels, ferries, activities, transport, permits, and other services on your behalf, cancellation charges depend on third-party supplier policies and operational timelines.
The applicable cancellation terms are always mentioned in your quotation and on the booking page. Please review them carefully before confirming your booking.
Standard Cancellation Terms (Operated Tour Packages)
21 Days or More Before Travel Date
- 10% deduction (towards GST, payment gateway & transaction charges)
- 90% refund will be processed to your original payment source or bank account
- If you opt for a Triptoocean Travel Credit Voucher, you will receive a 5% bonus (Total 95% value)
15-20 Days Before Travel Date
- 30% deduction (towards GST, accommodation blocking, transport, and admin costs)
- 70% refund to original payment source or bank account
- If opting for a voucher, you will receive 80% value as Triptoocean Travel Credit
7-14 Days Before Travel Date
- 50% deduction (towards GST, permits, accommodation, transport, and operational costs)
- 50% refund to original payment source or bank account
- If opting for a voucher, you will receive 60% value as Triptoocean Travel Credit
1-6 Days Before Travel Date
- 100% deduction (as all arrangements are finalized and non-refundable at this stage)
- No refund applicable
Important Notes
- Cancellation policies may vary depending on the specific tour, destination, or activity. Final applicable terms will always be mentioned in your quotation and booking confirmation.
- Flight tickets, visa services, ferry tickets, and standalone activity bookings are governed by respective third-party supplier policies.
- Refunds are processed only after receiving confirmation and recoverable amounts from vendors.
- No-show cases will be treated as 100% cancellation with no refund.
Voucher Terms (Optional Choice)
- Valid for 12 months from issue date
- Can be used for any Triptoocean operated tour package
- Non-redeemable for cash
- Transferable within immediate family (subject to approval)
Force Majeure
In case of natural disasters, government restrictions, airline shutdowns, pandemics, or other events beyond our control, Triptoocean will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide credits based on vendor recovery policies. Refunds in such cases are subject to supplier approvals.
Refund Processing Timeline
- Refund to original source: 7–14 working days after approval
- Travel Credit Voucher: 5–7 working days
- Processing time may vary depending on payment gateway and supplier confirmation
